Write to defty.app@gmail.com. Defty is made and run by one person, so that address reaches the person who wrote the app rather than a queue. Expect an answer within two working days; if you have not heard back in a week, something went wrong with the mail and it is worth sending again.
It helps to say which iPhone you are on, which version of iOS, and what you were doing when it went wrong. If a round is involved, the day and which set — Patterns or Words — is usually enough to find it.
A subscription is held by Apple and has to be cancelled there, not here: on your iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Defty. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves Plus working until the period you have paid for runs out. Refunds are Apple's to give, through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Make sure the iPhone is signed in to the Apple Account that bought it, then open Settings in Defty and tap Restore purchases. If it still does not appear, write to us with the date of the purchase and we will look at what Apple has told the server.
Ask at defty.app@gmail.com and the account and its play history go. Deleting an account does not cancel a subscription — Apple holds that, and it has to be cancelled as above, or it will keep renewing after the account is gone.
Same address. What is held and why is set out in the privacy policy, which also says what has to be kept even after a deletion and for how long.
If the connection dropped or the server restarted while you were playing, that round does not count and the day's round is yours to play again. If that is not what happened, tell us the day and the set and we will look at what was recorded.
Rounds that look automated or shared are reviewed, and a round can be voided or an account suspended. If that has happened to you and you think it is wrong, write to the same address and a person will look again.
Defty is for players of 13 and over, or older where local law sets a higher age. If you believe a child younger than that has an account, write to us and we will close it and delete what we can.
